Privacy Policy

EaglercraftServers is an independent directory for finding and connecting to community-run Eaglercraft servers. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We take privacy seriously and keep our footprint small: we ask for the minimum needed to sign you in, let you manage and save server listings, and keep the site secure and working as intended.

• Account information. When you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and the email address on your Discord account. Sign-in is handled by Discord, so we never see or store your Discord password.
• Server listings. If you list a server, we store the details you provide, including its name, address, description, version, gamemode tags, and any icon or banner you upload.
• Saved favorites. If you have an account, you can favorite servers so they are easy to find again. We store the list of servers you favorite and use it only to power that feature for you. We do not use your favorites for advertising and we do not sell them.
• Voting information. When you vote for a server, you give an in-game name so the server can credit any voting rewards, and we pass that name to the server's reward system for that purpose. To keep voting fair, we record a one-way hashed form of your IP address rather than the address itself, and we use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real people apart from bots.
• Technical and log data. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure processes standard request information such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps. We use this to operate the site, diagnose problems, and protect against abuse, not to build advertising profiles.

We do not collect payment information, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

We use the information above to:

• sign you in and keep your session active;
• create, display, verify, and manage the server listings you submit;
• save and show the servers you favorite;
• record votes, prevent vote abuse, and deliver your in-game name to a server's reward system;
• show live player counts and server status;
• keep the service secure, reliable, and working as intended.

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is necessary for the site to work, since without it you could not stay logged in between pages. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand general traffic patterns, such as how many people visit and which pages are popular. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it reports aggregate trends and does not profile you, follow you across other sites, or sell your data. We rely on it only to keep the site healthy and to improve it. Outside of the account features described above, we do not track individual users.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the providers that make the service run, and only as far as they need it to do their job:

• our hosting and database provider, which stores the site's data;
• Discord, which handles sign-in;
• Cloudflare, which provides bot protection and privacy-friendly analytics.

When you vote, your in-game name is delivered to the server you voted for so it can grant rewards. We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, or where it is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

Some listing details are public by design, including a server's name, address, description, version, tags, icon, and banner. Your Discord email and the servers you favorite are never shown publicly.

We keep your account and listing data for as long as your account is active. When you delete a listing, remove a favorite, or close your account, the associated data is removed from our active systems, except for limited records we may need to keep for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons. Hashed vote records and standard logs are kept only as long as they are useful for those purposes and are then discarded.

You stay in control of your data. You can edit or delete your listings, add or remove favorites, and stop voting at any time. To request deletion of your account and the personal data tied to it, or to ask what we hold about you, email us at [email protected].

EaglercraftServersis not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You must also meet Discord's minimum age requirement for your country to sign in. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

EaglercraftServersis in early development, and our features and data practices are still evolving. Because of this, we expect to update this policy more frequently than a fully established service would. We will always reflect any changes by updating the “last updated” date at the top of this page, and we encourage you to check back periodically. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
